And like in any kind of human interaction, the planner/supplier relationships have their ups and downs. Na jarenlang saneren en reorganiseren, trekt de communicatie-business terug aan en staat de arbeidsmarkt opnieuw onder druk. Met als gevolg: snellere rotatie van medewerkers en een tekort aan instromend talent. Daarom bedachten de Young Accounts van ACC Belgium: The Hunt, een speed dating sessie tussen bureau-managers en laatstejaars studenten communicatie, (event)marketing en technologie, naar analogie met de CDate Night, waar de Creatieve Directeurs elk jaar hun stagiairs kiezen uit de laatstejaars art-studenten.

Hoe kijken we naar de toekomst?

Tijd om vooruit te kijken na de aanslagen van 22 maart, ondertussen al meer dan een jaar geleden. MPI Belgium wil graag met een positieve blik naar de toekomst van de meeting-industrie kijken en organiseert een ‘ronde tafel’. “Wij willen met al onze leden, betrokkenen en partners delen wat we hebben ervaren en wat we daaruit hebben geleerd.”

Op 27 april publiceerden onze collega’s van RendEvenement een videoverslag over het salon Event & Communications Days, dat op 19 en 20 april plaatsvond in ICC Ghent.

UBA en ACC Belgium stellen zich beiden tot doel om de samenwerking tussen opdrachtgevers en creatieve bureaus zo optimaal mogelijk te laten verlopen. En die samenwerking begint bij het maken van goede afspraken, samengebracht in een helder en moduleerbaar contract, afgestemd op de noden van beide partijen.

UNICEO has conducted a global study about the impact of terrorist attacks on corporate events.

The increase in terrorist acts in recent months has had a direct impact on the whole population and especially on tourism and travel. Corporate events are a particularly vulnerable area that involve the use of transport, individuals getting together and the use of private and public places.

The Costa del Sol, the main destination for corporate events in Spain and one of the top 10 in Europe, has announced an agreement with UNICEO®, a move that furthers its positioning as a leading destination in Europe for corporate events. With this agreement, the Costa del Sol will actively cooperate in UNICEO® projects aimed at promoting the exchange of experiences and knowledge among its members. The Costa del Sol will become a Global Partner and provide support for the activities of the international association headquartered in Geneva.
