The exciting 26th edition of the BEA competition has yielded gold awards for CityCubes (twice) and Hurae, Consortium LFD+H, Sylvester, and OFCORES.

New awards concept for influencers

In the Business-to-Business category, CityCubes &Hurae won gold with the Bisou Awards 2024, a self-organized awards show for influencers. Fast Forward earned silver with Silverfin FFWD Unplugged, an event focused on rejuvenation. Bronze went to Whisk Live Marketing & Events x DPG Media for Stay Ahead & Show Up!, two flagship events of DPG Media.

Double gold for CityCubes

CityCubes also hit the jackpot in the Category Business-to-Consumer events, this time with the striking Samsung Ferris Wheel, which appeared in Ostend and Brussels last year. Event Masters came second with the BMW Motorrad Day, followed by A.S. Adventure, which received bronze for the multi-day outdoor and hiking festival Nomadsland.

Sylvester renews its title

Just as in 2024, Sylvester Events once again delivered the Best Business-to-Employees Event this year with the Happy Rebels Festival: Sign of Union, commissioned by House of HR Group. Berlin Creative Studio took silver with an original internal event, Proximus on the Move, while New Balls Please received bronze for The Digital Drop for ASICS.

A Successful Collaboration for an Unforgettable Belgian Party

In the Institutional Events category, the gold BEA went to the Consortium LFD+H (a collaboration between LSE, The Friends, d-side & Hangar) for the Belgian Party 2024, a major event on our national holiday. Fast Forward – along with Luckytree – took home its second silver award of the evening, this time for Asfalt, a multi-day city festival that immersed Ghent in street and urban culture. WMH Project secured bronze at the official ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.

OFCORES wins first teambuilding Gold

This year, the BEA competition was expanded to include a Teambuilding category. The very first gold in this category went to OFCORES, which organized an unforgettable team-building event in Albania for Legend. Event Masters again took home silver, this time with Hey Toyota - Drive The Future, for Toyota Belgium. To The Point Events completed the podium, with a fantastic team-building event for Globachem.

A fitting tribute

In addition to the classic gold, silver, and bronze BEA Awards, an exceptional Lifetime Achievement Award was also presented this year to Stefan Czerwatiuk, founder of Act Events, who passed away unexpectedly in early September. The BEA organization wanted to honor Stefan for his years of dedication to the sector and his involvement in the first BEAs. He received a fitting tributefromalltheindustrycolleagues present, receiving a standing ovation.

Well-attended jury sessions at The White Cinema

The BEA competition kicked off, as is tradition, in the summer, with no fewer than 34 agencies submitting a case. After an online pre-selection, the 24 finalists gathered at The White Cinema on November 25th, where they presented their projects to a professional jury of corporate event managers. These sessions were also attended by a large group of event professionals and students, who were able to cheer on the finalists live.

Atmospheric awards show at Asiat Park

The awards ceremony at Asiat Park brought together a thousand event professionals and company representatives for a festive culmination of the competition. The location, known for its pristine character, provided the ideal setting for an edition that focused primarily on authenticity and human connection.

This year's show was organized by the agency VO Event. In true BEA tradition, they were supported by more than 50 professional partners who gave their all.

Powerful projects, even in challenging times

"We all know this year wasn't easy for our sector," says BEA organizer Christophe De Clercq. "Yet, this year's competition was once again overflowing with projects that excel in courage, creativity, and humanity. That's the true strength of our sector. We're therefore thrilled that the BEA Awards can highlight all this wonderful work."
